There is a quite difference between the Balinese people in south of Bali and people in other part such as Ubud, Candidasa, Bedugul and Lovina area. In the south they are seems busy and rush on the time and money while outside seems they are slow, easy going, to enjoy the living but of course both group of people are very friendly. They will always greet you as a king in the island. As this is also the basic philosophy for the Balinese people. Combining you stay couple of night in Sanur, south of Bali and Ubud or Bedugul in the center or Lovina and Candidasa in north and east will enable you to find the different of both characteristic of Balinese people. It is quite interesting to know deeper about the tradition and culture of the local area you are visiting.
