HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING TOURS

1 . MENGWI – ALAS KEDATON – TANAH LOT TOUR :
This is a half day excursion to the most beautiful sunset temple (weather permission).
Pick up from your hotel in Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua or Ubud between 14:00 to 15:00 passing the Denpasar city or north Kuta then wide rice paddy of Mengwi Village in north of Denpasar for 40 minutes. You will arrive at your fist stop called Taman Ayun Temple, the former royal temple of Mengwi Kingdom built in 18th century. Here you can see the multi storey pagoda locally called "Meru". the temple is surrounded by moat where is also a fishing place for nearby villagers. From here you will drive up for about 20 minutes to Alas Kedaton, a cooler tropical forest as home of monkeys and giant bats. But some peanuts or banana to feeding them. Afterward drive south coastal called "Tanah Lot ; beach where you can find the legendary Tanah Lot temple, perched on rock jutting was built by a Javanese priest in the 16th Century and dedicated to the god of the sea. Depending on weather, we can catch fantastic views of sunset.
